Adult autism and ADHD can be overlooked when a person has learned to compensate, performs well in structured settings, or does not resemble common stereotypes. Our evaluation service is designed for adults who want a careful clinical review of patterns affecting work, relationships, sensory needs, attention, communication, and daily functioning.
An evaluation may be appropriate when:
The evaluation combines clinical interviews, standardized measures, behavioral information, and discussion of your present-day functioning. When useful and available, developmental history or information from someone who knows you well may also be considered.
The process is collaborative. You will have opportunities to explain your experiences, ask questions, and clarify anything that standardized measures do not capture. Findings are interpreted within the context of your life rather than treated as isolated test scores.
We discuss your questions, current experiences, relevant history, daily functioning, and what you hope to understand.
Selected standardized tools provide structured information about attention, autistic traits, functioning, and related concerns.
Your clinician integrates the available information and considers alternative explanations before reaching conclusions.
You receive a written report and a feedback conversation explaining the findings and practical next steps.
Testing ends with information you can understand and use.
A clear explanation of the evaluation findings and diagnostic conclusions when supported.
Documentation of the evaluation, relevant findings, strengths, challenges, and support needs.
Recommendations for daily life, treatment, accommodations, further services, or other appropriate supports.
A dedicated appointment to review results, answer questions, and discuss reasonable next steps.
Autism and ADHD can present differently across gender, culture, race, sexuality, age, and life circumstances. Our clinicians consider these factors during interpretation so that conclusions are not based solely on narrow or outdated stereotypes.
The purpose of an evaluation is not to reduce you to a label or change who you are. It is to develop a more accurate understanding of how you process information, navigate demands, use your strengths, and respond to your environment.
Your evaluation is provided by licensed clinicians with training relevant to adult neurodivergence and assessment.
