A clinical supervisor is a mentor, coach, and teacher to therapist trainees and dependently licensed therapists. The clinical supervisor is responsible for the work of their supervisees. To this end the supervisor reviews case notes and discusses case strategy with the supervisee. The supervisor suggests strategies and interventions where needed and generally helps the supervisee become a better therapist.
