A marriage and family therapist (MFT) trainee is a master’s level therapist who is currently still in school. The trainee has usually completed all or the majority of their coursework and is now practicing as a therapist under the supervision of a supervisor who is a seasoned therapist. When working with a trainee, you get the benefit of their cutting-edge knowledge as well as the experience of the seasoned supervisor.

My name is Kylie Brewer and I’m a MFT trainee finishing my master’s degree at Northcentral University for Marriage and Family Therapy with a specialization in children and adolescents. I received my Bachelors degree in Psychology from the University of Cincinnati. I practice under the supervision of Catherine Thier.
