My name is Iman Shehabi. I’m a licensed Social Worker in the state of Ohio. I completed my Bachelors at Ohio State University and am in progress to complete my Masters this upcoming May. I have a minor in addictive studies and a focus on couples and family counseling. I’m trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy, Structural Family Therapy and more. I take a holistic approach, but am also willing to do what works best for clients.
I enjoy working with individuals, children, adolescents, couples and families. I strive to see clients find healing and meaning in life through inner work. My use of psychotherapy is creating a space of vulnerability for clients to feel heard. Through compassionate dialogue, my goal is to assist you and or your family, in looking inward to explore feelings and thoughts to process emotions in a safe space.
As human beings, we have a primal spiritual need to feel connected to one another. Therefore to help meet your needs, I’m seeing clients both virtually and in person while taking safety precautions. I work both evenings and weekend hours and am currently accepting new clients. You may contact me through the main number or through the website. I would gladly help assist you with any questions you may have about therapy, our services and more.
